Fees and Rebates
Individuals: $220 per session during business hours, $240 per session after hours
Couples: $230 per session during business hours, $250 per session after hours
After-hours rates apply from 5 pm on weekdays and Saturday mornings. Sessions are available in-person or via telehealth, with a standard session length of 50 minutes. Payment is due on the day of the appointment.
Medicare
A referral from a GP is required to access Medicare rebates for clinical psychology services. Rebates are currently $145.25 per session, for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Claims are submitted electronically on the day of consultation, with rebates typically processed within a few business days.
Medicare rebates apply to eligible individual sessions only. Couples counselling is not covered under Medicare.
Private Health Insurance
A referral is not required to claim rebates under private health insurance. As coverage varies between funds and plans, please check with your provider regarding entitlements. Receipts are provided for you to submit claims directly to your fund.
Cancellation Policy
Maria understands that life can be unpredictable and that appointments may sometimes need to be rescheduled. To provide the best possible service and ensure availability for all clients, the following policy applies:
Clients who cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged a $75 cancellation fee. This helps cover the time reserved for your session and the preparation involved.
